I'm a member of growveg.info and allotments4all.
The layouts are totally different, growveg.info has all subjects logged in their own place, whereas allotments4all is more of a "as it happens" forum.
Seed swapping is one of the major benefits on both forums.0 -
www.growyourown.info for advice on almost any fruit or vegetable that you are likely to grow in the UK.0

Seed to plate is one i like....0

I joined www.growveg.info after seeing it recommended on another MSE thread. I especially like the shared calendars on individual vegetables which I can ask for annual email reminders when I need to do something. The quantities to plant threads are also really handy0

How about:
http://www.landshare.net/index/
for people who are finding it difficult to get an allotment and who can't use their own back garden (maybe because it's rented accommodation or too small)?
I made a thread called "Alternative To Allotments" on it but nobody has posted on it yet.
