has anyone had contact from this company trying to claim that you have infringed copywrite by downloading music/videos ? and demanding payment or else court action?:eek:

ACS:Law is a Legitimate group of Solicitors which have decided to go after "Peer2Peer Filesharers" with pre-emtive demands to pay fines for copyright infringement.
*note*
To date (as far as I can tell) ACS:Law has not taken anyone to court for copyright infringement. They work on the thinking that if you send out 1000's of warning letters asking people to pay fines, enough people will pay to make it economical without going to court.
Personally I think they are a bunch of "bottom feeding scum suckers" they are using scare tactics to threaten money out of people with "NO Solid Proof". These are the type of people that give the law profession a very bad name....Laters
