I have spoken to Thorsoak privately to explain that my comments were not aimed at her.
As I said before, if you want to discuss this with me, start another thread rather than hijacking someone else's. I won't be replying to any more of your taunts.
Taunts? You flatter yourself. With your prolific posting it is quite difficult to avoid you.0 -
My last words (until we get the forms, fill them in, and receive a decision) - IF our pensions had turned out to be what they were projected to be in the 1990s, IF we hadn't had to drop the price of our previous house by £50,000 two days before we sold in order to go ahead with the purchase of our current home - we would not be applying now for AA - so I do understand completely where Oldernotwiser is coming from!
But hey - life is what happens when you are busy making plans!0 -
UPDATE
Well, the forms arrived within a fortnight, we filled them in and sent them off - five days later I had a phone call from the relevant department, asking for additional information on a couple of points. I gae the information, then on Friday we had a call to say that someone will be coming out to see us in a couple of weeks time - and bingo! this morning, as I've checked the bank details, there is a payment from DWP of 4 x lower weekly allowance in the bank!
So, all in all, in less than one month, OH has been awarded Attendance Allowance.0 -

I am really pleased for you and I'm happy that my opinion was wrong.0
