  • Stop trying to stir up trouble by quoting me out of context.

I have spoken to Thorsoak privately to explain that my comments were not aimed at her.

As I said before, if you want to discuss this with me, start another thread rather than hijacking someone else's. I won't be replying to any more of your taunts.

Taunts? You flatter yourself. With your prolific posting it is quite difficult to avoid you.

My last words (until we get the forms, fill them in, and receive a decision) - IF our pensions had turned out to be what they were projected to be in the 1990s, IF we hadn't had to drop the price of our previous house by £50,000 two days before we sold in order to go ahead with the purchase of our current home - we would not be applying now for AA - so I do understand completely where Oldernotwiser is coming from!

But hey - life is what happens when you are busy making plans!

    UPDATE

Well, the forms arrived within a fortnight, we filled them in and sent them off - five days later I had a phone call from the relevant department, asking for additional information on a couple of points. I gae the information, then on Friday we had a call to say that someone will be coming out to see us in a couple of weeks time - and bingo! this morning, as I've checked the bank details, there is a payment from DWP of 4 x lower weekly allowance in the bank!

So, all in all, in less than one month, OH has been awarded Attendance Allowance.

I am really pleased for you and I'm happy that my opinion was wrong.
