Tenmah, I would find that a pain as well. What a nice luxury to be able to walk to work...I suppose I could but getting the kids to school etc would be a massive PITA.

My work is aobut 3 miles away I think...

Great that you're finding your natural weight now you're off the CD tho Pap and it's allowed you to start running and exercising regularly which is the main thing.

Pap, I can fluctuate by a couple of stones if I sneeze, my love. :D You have still achieved a huge amount, and if you keep running and eating well, you will maintain or reduce your weight for sure.

  • Pooky, I think thats all that counts. I have never been small, I will never be small but getting my weight at a manageable level while dealing with pcos is good enough for me. I want to lose another 20lb ish. But I feel much better now, even if I am overweight I am so much more fitter.

    Thanks Suzy :A

Certainly is Butti :T I am all booked in as is my travellodge. If you go we must meet up while there. I am heading down on Saturday and returning Monday morning.... Just 4 months to double my distance and get my time down to under 1h 30min :o

Good luck with your training if you do it :D

Oh someone remembered me :) Thanks to Beanie too. Had just finished when you posted that message Sammy. Time of 46.48, prob pants time in some 'runners' eyes but it's the best 5k time I have done :) First race down at least two more lined up this year... photos will be posted later.

Thanks to all of you who sponsered me. It was nice to run on behalf of someone. :)

I remembered Pap cos I was supposed to be there, but work has just taken off so much that it has eaten up all my time.

That and I am begining to think I have a broken foot! I seriously will take myself down to minor injuries tomorrow to get my foot x-rayed.

Well done...and that time is not to be sneezed at......

    Mucho proud nana sam :D

And am I too late to sponsor you..pm me a linky

Ohhhhh Pap - Well done you!!!! How'd you find it?

I have no desire to run but do admire those of you that do, especially Pap who's come soooooooo far in the past year.

I think we should adopt Pap :D

Yes, well I seem to remember Pap saying she would never run...

Too late, I already adopted her...(she just doesn't know it yet)
