Need to dye my hair today. The holiday sun has made the colour a bit uneven and it needs doing anyway. Decided to go for something nearer my natural colour (although I can only vaguely recollect that) which is a kind of mid auburn.

Was very hot this morning but the clouds have started to bubble up. Don't know if we'll get rain, the sun is still out at the moment but is being hidden more and more frequently.

Marinating nicely now looking like a right freak with the dye on my head. Almost thought there wouldn't be enough in the bottle, but it ended up just about being the right amount. The window is open and the curtains are blowing against me. They are cream so need to make sure they don't catch my hair!!!!!!

Good afternoon. Just returned from the SHOPPPP OF DOOOOOOOOM. Well, Asda. On a Sunday.

Now I remember why I do internet shopping. :)

I seem to have spent a bit too much money recently. Not to a disasterous extent, but I think I need a couple of inexpensive months to get my finances back on track. I have sooo much stuff in the freezer now though, so shouldn't need much of anything apart from fresh things for the rest of the month.

The only thing I do desperately need is a summer jacket. I saw loads of really cute ones in Debenhams but they are all double breasted, which looks dreadful on me.

I did sneak a pair of £12 wedges into my trolley today though, but they were just a bit foxy and I couldn't resist! :o

Don't you hate that bit in the instructions 'rinse until clear' and you look at the thickly coloured water pouring off your head and think - I could be here for some time.........
