cranberries ? how/if I can plant

At Christmas I bought a punnet of cranberries......guess what I found at the back of the fridge :rotfl:(I've been looking at the pack regularly for mould etc but only just remembered when I actually 'bought' them)

anyhow... I was wondering if these hardy little berries could grow into actual plants if I did the right things.....?

Would you suggest I try them as they are or try to (further) dry out the fruit part or even remove?

Has anyone ever grown cranberries & does anyone know where to start or even if I should be bothered lol:cool:

I'm assuming they are not rotting because of their anti - wotsit abilities

ps do they have a 'stone' or a seed type thingy ?

I'd certainly have a go at planting, though I haven't tried it myself. But they do need very acid soil, and watering with rainwater (tap water is too limey).
