It would be the following Wednesday - so if you signed on today (04/06), you would get money in the bank on 09/06.

The payment date for JSA depends on the last 2 digits of your Natonal insurance number. This number also dictates the day of the week you are required to sign on so the above posts are likely to be correct even if using signing on days rather than NINo's as a guide
00 – 19 Monday
20 – 39 Tuesday
40 – 59 Wednesday
60 – 79 Thursday

80 – 99 Friday

NB remember sometimes the payment will not be reflected in the balance info shown at the cash dispenser even if it is there (they seem to take a day to catch up with transactions in my experience) so ask at the counter if it doesn't show.

if you have signed on for the first time it could take weeks for your claim to be sorted.

I used to sign on on a Friday and usually got the money on Wednesday.

Don't make any plans until you see the money in your account though. I lost count of the number of times that my JSA didn't go through on time - usually (so I was told) because my advisor hadn't signed off my claim correctly or something like that. Then it can take at least another week to get any money through.
