how do i do this on google

i have a lappy with vista on it...g/f has windows 7

on the g/f lappy google.co.uk shows outside temps/weather and a few other bits . how can i make mine do this:o

for another time-killer, type 'xx-' and then click one of the suggestions, e.g. 'xx-pirate', then click the first link to convert Google into pirate speak. Many more varieties to choose from too.

do i have to create a account for google to make that appear everytime...just ran ccleaner and its gone back to the set up page and lost my settings

It depends if you ran ccleaner to remove cookies, if you did clear cookies I'm pretty sure that the deleted iGoogle cookie stored your settings. Creating an account will ensure your settings are static.

Though if you delete all your cookies, you'll still need to sign in to Google again to see your personalised iGoogle page.
