Strange Morrisons Episode/ Praise

Nipped into Morrisons earlier for a pack of tobacco - bought a 14g box (the cardboard ones) of Golden Virginia. Didn't even bother to take the reciept.
Got it home and went to roll a ciggy about 20 minutes later, only to struggle hard in getting the sellophane wrapper off, and equal trouble opening the box.
When I got inside, I found the strangest thing. A very well folded up piece of newspaper (the Daily Star from sometime last week).
Anyway, took it straight back to Morrisons and both the lady at the desk (who'd fortunately sold me the packet!) and the duty manager were very understanding, and replaced it, agreeing with my reasoning that it must of happened inside a Bonded warehouse. :T
Not sure my local corner shop fella would have done the same, tbh.

Fraid I didn't even have that joy. It was mostly adverts - the sight I was actually greeted with was the Manchester United crest
from some clock they were trying to flog.
Should add that the warehouse thief made an excellent job of putting the packaging back together.0 -

Dunno about the paper but the ciggys were filter tits!
And on the subject of Morrisons, why do the majority of their stores have those annoying revolving doors?
And on a more serious note - certainly with My local store in Doxford Park Sunderland, why do they have those stupid massive ceramic pots and other items stored in the middle of the aisles?
It is only a matter of time when someone gets hurt when the stack collapses on a kid.
At times it is like an obstacle course in there.0 -
The doors are to stop shoplifters legging it out of the shop0

Nice when a supermarket put there profits before the safety of their customers
Why would he have turned violent on an innocent bystander ? I think you might be worrying a bit too much there...0 -

My local supermarket has some very weird characters, especially the people who go in regularly to shoplift! There was one man (who I presume must of been mentally ill) raving about how he had a knife after he was caught shoplifting- obviously security got him out asap as they weren't waiting to find out if that was true or not!
That said I don't think the shoppers really even noticed, it was the staff who caught him that were terrified!0 -
