Cheapest Way To Post Shoes?

Been selling off a lot of things on ebay now just left with wayyy too many shoes. At the moment I'm using parcel paper for posting things but obviously not going to be able to post using parcel paper.

Anyone got any suggestions? & cheapest place to buy suggestions :)

Wrap each in bubble wrap (ideally twice if buckles/metal parts/high heels), place together in best fit position, wrap again in bubble wrap (placing a small pad of it in any smallish spaces) then in a plastic mailing bag.

I wrapped some up yesterday in bubblewrap and then brown paper with lots of parcel tape - just hope they get there;)

I do the same as you & find they seem to get there in one piece & undamaged.

Please be careful of brown paper, it can weigh a lot and push you into the next weight band on postage.

You can buy plastic mailing sacks on ebay that work out at around 12p each. Just bubble wrap and use a mailer, safe secure and keeps the weight down.

Ask your local shoe shop if they have got any spare boxes they don't want. Then just tape them up, or wrap them in the brown paper you have.

I prefer mine to arrive this way - it means I haven't got a shoe box to get rid of, and I can reuse the bag :)

When I've run out of mailing bags/small boxes, I use bubble wrap then a plastic carrier or one of those 'bags for life' (about 35p new but the old, tatty ones are fine and there are usually some around the house), secure with tape and stick white paper with address on. I've used them for laser printer cartridges which just fit in, shoes, clothes etc.
