Application for FlexAccount

Is it a yes or a no?
Applied 1st June for a FlexAccount @ Nationwide. At the end of the application, I was told they would be in contact within 5 days, but I've heard nothing since, and the online application status still says pending after 4 days (exact words - application submitted for processing as at 3pm June 2010). I would assume they have a backlog of account applications to process probably referred to an underwriter, or would it be a refusal and they are sending out a letter? They done a credit check on me AND a money laundering check (as if I could on £130 wages a week! :rotfl:)
Anyone applied for a Flexaccount recently and had the same application pending and if so what was the outcome?:)

Seems Nationwide are a bit disorganised.
They never sent any forms to sign, despite calling customer services twice, they were adamant they had been sent, and confirmed correct address, they also confirmed I had been accepted for an account with £550 o/d and a full debit card.
Ok, in an effort to get it sorted, I went into local branch 3 times.....first visit, they found the application, but couldn't print it out, could I come back next day. Came back next day, advisor was on lunch, could I come back in a few days. Went back in a few days to be told my application was now invalid as I didn't sign the forms within 21 days. Branch staff suggested I apply again. No thanks..............;)
Nevermind, life goes on regardless.0
