Conveyancing- selling fees only?

Hi-

Does anyone know how much convenyancing fees would be for selling a property (i.e. not buying and selling- just selling).

Thanks

There are lots of considerations here, not just value - you're best ringing around a few solicitors for their prices (law says they have to give you a good idea of cost in drawing up their contract with you before acting for you).

Licensed Conveyancers are just as good, if not better, are usually cheaper and they should be able to give you a fixed price which will be subject to any complications arising.

And don't forget to ask if their quotes include VAT.

    Good Luck :)

I've just been quoted £650 by a local solicitor!

Edit- Just been quoted £420 (including all fees- VAT, land registry changes etc) by a different local solicitor! Much happier with this quote and I've used the firm before, so I know that they will get the job done!

    Thanks for your help guys!
