    So far so good

Digging and leveling out the bottom of the garden ready to extend the lawn for DD's play area.
Got half of this done so should be finished and ready for my prepared grass seed tomorrow

    Repotting some chillies and peppers.
    Done

    Put up hanging basket. Done

Then maybe get round to doing a bit in the front garden.
Hmm maybe tomorrow but this was a bit of a push anyway.

Plus OH made me a trelis as a bonus. Oh and can't forget the most important bit, us all having a break with an ice cream and DD going around each of us for a lick of each flavour. So rest time ready for tomorrow.

Hoping to put some veggie plants in today, the pigeons got at ours a couple of weeks ago because we forgot to cover them. lol All grown from seed.

I'm also going to do some more hanging baskets, I've done 9 already and they are up. We got some plants from a plant auction yesterday so I'm ready to go again.
  • Yesterday was a longish drive out to look at paving samples and discovered a local firm for decorative gravel/bark chipping on the way back.

Today, more measuring, marking out and seeing as it is cooler digging.
    No longer half of Optimisticpair

Watching the rain fill up my water butt and wetting my plants. Got a few more seedlings to plant, well a lot more, so am pondering where to put them. Need to do some repotting of my herbs indoors too.

I have been out and watered everything, thinned out my parsnips and thinned out some carrots. Yesterday I replanted on my leeks and harvested the last of the spinach before it went to seed and some mange tout. Planted some beans, greens and pak choi and some sugar snap peas. I was very tempted when I saw a strawberry hanging basket but I already have about seven plants all growing so thought better of it. Also planted some dwarf beans too. Oh an marvelled at my gooseberries. Hopefully shall get a glut in July/Aug so make into something nice.
