On the website the other day
'Preorder for delivery on the 4th June' Alice In Wonderland.
So I did and it's not arrived. I phoned them to let off some steam. I knew it would be pointless but what's the point in them advertising it on their site and then failing to deliver.
I said I could've stopped off on my way home from work and picked up a copy, but it said on the site it would be delivered today.
I said I have people driving up the M6 to watch it, we were going to order a Chinese for them.......
The young lad said why don't I nip out and buy one, then when the one I ordered is delivered, I can take it back to Asda for a refund.
If I did that I'd be going twice :mad:
Oh grr I am annoyed!

How annoying!
Is there any chance your guests could stop by and collect one? Personally, I think they should just give you one from stock (assuming you have an order number to prove you have paid) and let you keep the other when/if it arrives.
It is worth waiting for though if you're a Depp fan....:D;)0 -

I think if I was as desperate as you sound (not criticising - if I hadn't seen it already i would be too
) I'd have nipped and got one, to be honest. especially if it was a planned night with friends.
