Hi
Are there minimun specs needed to use/get the most out of particular printers. I got the cheap dell inspion 1300 a while ago, very basic, 256MB etc and just wondered if a printer will work ok with it? Also, I saw advertised a printer, scanner, photocopier and fax, all in one for about £60 - is this likley to be !!!! and pointless? Has anyone used such a device? Think it was through Currys or one of the major retaillers.

a printer will work fine with that Laptop and I've just seen the same offer in Tesco's for an all in one for £37 but it was a Lexmark , the cartridges are expensive to replace
find a cheap printer offer than see how much the cart's are for it, might be worth a few more pounds on the price to get cheap cartridges later

Hi
Unless you are printing colour pictures(which would need a much more expensive printer anyway!) I would go with a cheap laser printer for around 40-50 quid!
I would reccommend that you upgrade the memory to 512mb. I did it for my friend's 1300 and there was decent performance boost!0 -
Cool. Thanks, are there any makes that you would strongly recommend or steer clear of?And if, you know, your history...0
