Morning guys, had OR FTF interview yesterday, was terrifying, very scary, went through everything with a fine tooth comb, they seemed quite surprised all my cc and my loan were completely up to date with payments, and all the recent activity on cc was questioned in detail, was made to feel a bit like I had spent knowing this was going to happen. I explained that had no idea that this was going to happen to my business as a large customer went down on me which left the company insolvent and this is all being dealt with seperately on top of struggling through a really hard time. Anyway it has been done now, we have a fair amount of BI interest in the property and they said they would like to get it sorted asap, which is a relief as would like to get that sorted, they said we should get all the paperork and forms next week regarding this and to try and act quicly to stop it being passed to an IP, felt drained beyond belief and cried most of yesterday, anyway just needed to share. Thanks for listening. Lilian x

    Hi Lilian

Sounds like you went through the mill yesterday, hun, no wonder you feel so drained! Thank god its over for you and please share away here, we are here to listen and support.

Your over one of the difficult parts of the BR process, at least now you know everything will start to be sorted out and I imagine the house is a major issue too. Glad they are going to sort it quickly for you.

As for making you feel that way, they have to be so thorough in their investigation and it can be hard going. I have to admit a couple of times I spoke to my OR post interview about going through mortgage rescue, I came off the phone in tears because he made me feel as though I was trying to do something dodgy!!! I think you are in such a sensitive state with all your emotions all over the place, by the time you get to the interview, its hard to be calm and collected!!

I think your right, my mind is not functioning properly about aything and my nerves are shredded I have little perspective about anything and find the smallest things set me off, trying hard to keep everything together on the surface, but really struggling with the feelings inside, guilt, anger, self pity, they are all there, am hoping that now the two hardest bits are over will start getting ourselves back on track and looking forward rather than what I could have/ should have done in the past. Thank you for your kind words.

Lilian, I felt exactly like you did at the beginning of our BR, and for me those feelings lasted quite a long time and do still rear their ugly head now and again. But, im now 11 months down the line and I promise you it does get easier to cope with over time. Back then for me, every litttle thing to do with the BR would set me off into despair and depression, just the sight of an envelope on the door mat from the OR would have me shaking with fear and upset!!! But now I am slowly coming to terms with it and one of the main reasons was using this forum and speaking to people who understood what I was goling through.

So just hang in there hun and you will start to get back on track and move forward. It will take time and you will have good and bad days, but gradually you will come to terms with what you had to do to sort your life out for the better. xx
