I manage a large department for a corporate company in London.

Up at six, home at eight if lucky. Pays ok, but I just really hate the job. Even when I'm driving there in the morning, I just don't want to be going. I hate it to the point where I'm considering another job which will be a £8k per year pay cut, but at least I'll enjoy the job!

Sorry to hear that - hope you will be ok...;)

I may sound ungratefull, the job is well paid etc, but it's relentless. I even end up doing stuff in the evenings and weekends as there are not enough hours in the day. If I don't do it, then it just causes issues the next day. As you say, life is too short, I'd rather take a pay cut and end up on a dmp than continue with this!

thanks, i'm trying to think what will be will be, but i am worried

no, it doesn't sound ungrateful at all. it's all about balance, earning enough to pay the bills without your entire life revolving around a job you detest... i hope you can find something else or it gets better x
