Using shower gel as a face wash

Yes your right i have a very greasy t-zone and for years i was using very harsh cleaners and it just kept getting worse it was a vicious circle. then on the advice of a nurse used a moisturising face wash and it got a little better. i'm now using the oil cleaning method and my skin is better.Actually as daft as it sounds ,the worst thing you can do for greasy skin is to try and dry it out as it causes the skin to produce more and more oil .
The best thing is to add artificial oil /moisture to the skin then that slows down the skins own production and then it dries out naturally ,in my experience anyway

Wow i've always used shower gels for my face in the shower everyday and never thought it could be drying
I do suffer from dry patches even though i'm predominently oily...better find something else then see if it changes dryness.0
