LED Lenser Torches use Cree Chips, the P7 is a great torch. Some Sports Direct sell them, as do some camping/outdoor type shops. Though ebay is probably your best bet imo.

good quality but expenisve and low powered...best and cheapest imo is dealextreme.com

bought a decent 700 lumen torch from them - mte3-2 cost me $37 delivered from hong kong.

its very well made but uses special oversized AA digitally regulated Lithium batteries (they sell these and a charger)...or they sell torches that do standard aa batteries

build is very good..imo better than maglite

also bought a 220 lumen uniquefire torch for $13

These are MEGA bright - can temp blind - the mte3-2 can light objects up to 1800feet away - maybe as bright as a car headlight! check out you tube for demos - especially the comparison with a 2 cell and 4 cell maglites (and laugh at the pathetic light from the maglites)

they are mega small as well.....the mte3-2 is 15cm long, the uniquefire is 9cm long and about 2 cm wide

Don't know if the torches are any good but these prices look OK

I like Fenix torches, a good balance between price and performance. Plenty of choice on the Fenix pages here. Good service too.
