Convert word to PDF

Hi all, could one of you kind folks please recommend any good free converters for changing a Word document to PDF please.

If you are using a copy of word 2007 then there is a plugin where you can save a file as a PDF. Other than that we sometimes use a prog call PDF Factory but I think there may be a charge to use it after the trial period is up!

If the OS and word are quite up to date send the document to print and from the drop down printer list choose pdf.

Open Office is an alternative free version of the Microsoft Office product.

It will open up word documents, excel sheets and other stuff, and has a free pdf converter within the programme.

Install Cute PDF ( free ) & instead of saving the Word document print it to Cute PDF.

I personally prefer BullZip. It's free and has more options for image compression than the likes of CutePDF, etc.

I have just installed Cute PDF, we have the professional version at work. The free version works fine, I got it from filehippo.com but I had to download a converter, don't know if it's because I have MS Works.
