I wouldn't waste my time using the bags. Use the caddy and rinse it out every day.

The caddy isn't solid though, it's a vented thing (like a plastic mesh with big gaps). If I didn't use the bags, it would really have to sit inside something else I think, to stop stuff dripping out.

My Composter didn't come with a caddy or bags in Derbyshire!!!! They also delivered to the wrong address!
I collected it and they said they would refund the cost of delivery.

I know exactly what you have, and yes, DO use the bags unlike someones suggestion above. They are compostable as they say..... our local council give them out FOC and even deliver them....... worth a spin with yours!
