Hi I was wondering if anyone knew the changes if any to dla,I am on dla and I am my wifes fulltime care,plus I work part time from home whenever possible.
It would be physically impossible for me to do anymore than I already am.Would we stay as we are I am not sure.Cheers

I don't think they have announced what the reforms will entail yet. I would say don't worry until you have to-life is too short (and yes I am currently living totally on benefit-I have had ongoing health problems following cancer surgery and had another op just 2 weeks sgo, so I am not talking from an unsympathetic position.)Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

I have read that David Cameron has stated that DLA will stay (the Conservatives introduced DLA I believe); however, Iain Duncan-Smith seems keen to get rid. The general concensus appears to be that, largely due to the huge opposition there would be if it were suggested it should go, it'll be around for some time yet.
I really wouldn't worry about it

I think that if there were any changes to be made to it, that it'll be one of those issues that will involve many discussions, many papers, and will take quite some time to come up with any changes.0
