Can anyone offer advice on a good boiler brand?
I don’t want to spend the earth and I only have a small one bedroom flat with 5 radiators and an electric shower. I want to fit a reasonably good reliable system that won’t give me too much hassle
I have been quoted for a Ferolli boiler this is the cheapest it is a 28kw combi
I have been quoted £200 more for an Alpha CD25c Combi
I have been quoted £200 more than the Alpha for a Baxi Main 25 Eco Combi
What are everyone’s thoughts?
Thanks

We have a Baxi and it has been fantastic. Had it just before the ruling came in on condensing boilers and it has never given us a minutes trouble. We were told not to go any lower on price than the Baxi mid price that we had and we paid £800 fitted (but that was from a friend and I think we got a good deal).
I have heard Vaillant boilers are the best though.0 -

Good morning: the OH installs Vaillant, Viessmann and Remeha (value for money option) by choice not financial incentive ...but a boiler is only as good as the standard of the installation. More advice here.

Worshester are another good make made by Bosch I believe. As canuckhead says and install is only as good as the fitter.0
