Hi Guys

Have orderded a new car from Ford. It has arrived in Scotland with scuffed alloy. LAST WEEK.

Still waiting for authorisation from some in FORD for the replacement of alloy.

My dealership are phoning every day so i know they cant do any more.

Is there anyone in Ford who i can phone (not customer services) who may get this going.

Not happy that it takes a week for authorisation.

Any advices would be appreciated.

Thanks

It depends on who scuffed it. If it was done in transit (very doubtful as they use wheel covers to stop that happening) then Ford would have to doa warranty claim, but if it was since arrival then the dealership will just have to stump up for a new one and they will be the ones you need to get on to, not Ford.

Sounds like you're being fobbed off, even if you're being called everyday. This is almost certainly not a Ford issue, and even if it were, a warranty claim is submitted and authorised within 24hrs usually...
