I just had someone call up the office and check that there was someone here...

We normally finish at 3 on a Fri but now we have to leave someone here til 5-so we all take turns...

Phone rang, I got it and they hung up...cheeky gits

BB, that's a pain. I hope you hear soon!
well to be honest, I'm even less interested now than I was. If there is a delay, I think the least the interviewers can do is give a quick 2 minute call to the candidates to keep them informed

well, true. I feel though like I've been working like a dog since I got back from my holiday. I was told today how tired I looked before I went away :o Still haven't committed to any teaching for the next academic year. Really don't want to.

I used to work for UK Waste (nice!), and the regional manager used to ring when we were busy, and if we didn't answer quickly, he would have a real go at us down the phone for not answering quickly enough. He would do this whilst genuine customers were having to wait to be answered because we were too busy listening to his rants about how customers didn't like being kept waiting.

He was definitely someone that had been promoted beyond his level of competence!

Can any of you give me any advise on reclaiming PPI. I know a couple of you got some money back so hoping you might point me in the right direction.

Basically I have been giving my friend advise that I have learnt from this site and now she is asking about reclaiming her PPI, but I don't know anything about it! She wrote to the bank/cc company and they have come back and said no, but I am sure I read somewhere that you shouldn't give up. She has had a phone call from a company saying they can help her but wpould charge 30% and I have told her not to do anything until I see if anyone can help here.

I have looked at the PPI thread but I just don't understand it.

Where is Pepe when you need him......
