Morning all - Welcome to Friday

Thought I'd put some bunting in the title to echo what I'll be making today.

Have sorted my banking bits and bobs out, paid £10 into my ISA and chucked £52 at debt (0% so I can justify saving at the same time)

Aims today
  • Find 5 things to list on ebay (won't list until next week but need to hunt things out)
  • Count out the small change jar and see what I can get banked.
  • Finish bathroom.
  • Get 4 loads of washing done and dry/ironed and put away
  • Make some yummies for this evenings BBQ.
What's everyone else upto?

Morning Pooky and all to follow

Today I shall also be finding things around the house that I can ebay, sell in paper or freecycle. Really want to get organised and all of the surplus rubbish out the house!!! Oh and I must go and drop my divorce papers in now that I have the £300 court fee's. I was also thinking about going to look at some new trail trainers but I can't afford them and MUST stop spending money..I currently have £70 to last me the rest of the month and have to go to Buns in a couple of weeks

Had a lovely evening last night, 3 mile walk in the sunshine with R and lots of pimms sat out in the garden :)
Busy weekend for me, work, travel to party in winchester, and race on Sunday :)
Suppose id better get in the shower and have some breakfast too

shocking what some sun shine can do for people :D

shame my evening is going to be a little bit of a downer since my nextdoor neighbours are having one of their mothers wakes, who passed away not long ago, at their house this evening so thats going to be a bit :( oh well lots of extra cuddles with my little one to make me feel better :D

just a shame my wife is being silly and feeling down because the wee one is all daddy at the moment (when i am at home in the evening) and she is feeling very unloved, probably doesnt help when she asks her 'do you want a bath' and the answer is 'yes daddy', and 'who do you want to take you to bed' with the reply 'daddy' same with reading her books and getting her food and well pretty much everything and i cant help but smile and be very happy that she wants me.

any idea how i can get her to understand that she only wants daddy in the evening because she has her mummy all day and is trying to make the most of me being there?

anyways hugs to all didnt even mean to start writing like that this early in the morning :s

    Haha, yes...it's the sunshine...

That sounds like a difficult situation gonzo. I am sure that rationally, your wife must know that your daughter is just making the most of you being there, but it still must be a hard pill to swallow when she always asks for you.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe there are so many other things to get done during the day that 'the girls' don't have much time to do things together that are just purely fun, and that maybe you could encourage them to spend a little time each week doing something together where they can forget about housework etc for a while, and just have a laugh and enjoy each other's company. It doesn't seem entirely fair, as it is eating into the time YOU can spend with both of them, but it may help her see that her daughter really does love her and enjoys being with her.

I could be completely wrong though, so please don't take offence if they already do lots of enjoyable activities together. :o I just know from experience how easy it is to get bogged down with day to day life, and forget to put aside time to just have fun.

    Morning everyone

Beautiful weather again today, I'm just waiting for the estate agents to arrive to do their inspection, I dont really understand what exactly they're looking at, that we haven't trashed the place I guess?? They could be here any time between now and 1, I hope its sooner rather than later, all my jobs are done so I have maximum time to enjoy the sunshine :)

And I was right the other day, I have cleared a debt :)) so now only the scary overdraft to get rid of, then to save up the £1500 I owe my mum & grandma. Then I can finally think of doing all the things I want to do right now but cant afford to :(

Lots of love to everyone and enjoy the sunshine.

    No, Snags, I completely agree.
My kids get to do 'fun' things with Dad normally while I get stuck doing laundry/cleaning/cooking on my days off-not much fun...Mind you, DaddyDayCare has started at The Warren and he is trying to do the kitchen/re-wiring etc so keeps telling me how difficult it is to get things done whilst looking after the kids. Ha ha ha ha! Welcome to my world, lol.

Anyhoo, I digress-I think that is a good suggestion is the point I was trying to make before I went off on one.

Mooooorning all! Good sleep last night so not a blithering wreck today. :)

I am happy all my friends are getting happier.

Now, can someone please go round up Suzy and Spud and Linda please? I am sick of having to corral you lot! ;)

lol no offense to anything, honestly i do not get offended by anything, life is to short and i would much rather people tell me so i can think/act on things than be in the dark and if i think they are just being dumb well thats their problem not mine :D

well they do activities so i dont think thats the problem as much as
Monday is snappys - kiddies inside adventure playground
    Tuesday is tumble tots
Wednesday is a trip to the grandparents and if its nice weather they go to the park there
Thursday is a day of rest stay in and around the house (we do have a 80 foot back garden that she plays in)
    Friday is a whatever day

anyways just somethign that has popped into my head my wee one appears to be a leftie as when i was playing 'football' with her last night she would only kick it with her left foot and when throwing things her left hand always seems to throw further :D so will make her popular in sports as there are never enough people left sided
