Is it wrong to apply for a temporary job, knowing you can't work it all?

Hello,
I'm going to uni in early October so all jobs I'm looking for are temporary ones. Most ones I've found end before I leave or in September, so it's fine.
However, I have seen a job which is temporary until 31 October. It's to cover the summer rush (or block:rotfl:) at the airport.
Would it be wrong for me to apply for this, knowing I'd have to leave 2 weeks or so before the 31st? I mean morally, contractually and all other =allys.
Thanks.

Morally - yes it would be wrong.
In other respects - don't know...0 -
Depends on what's in your contract.0

Considering they have already set the length of the contract then I would say it probably is not good to apply to it.
I would find it very difficult to go to the interview without actually admitting I could not do the last two weeks of the contract. I have however always been told I am to honest for my own good.0 -
Forget all the morals as any company would not think twice about shortening your contract if it suited them, take the job and eather leave before the end or go off sick for the last two weeks. Morals wont put cash in your pocket, remeber it is better to stitch them up than they stitch you up.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0

Good lord, have you NEVER worked for a decent employer who does as they would be done by? Believe it or not, they do exist!0 -
Have you tried contacting the employer and explain your dilemma?
Having recruited for a number of temporary vacancies to cover summer demand the need would usually diminish once you get to September and therefore it may be to the advantage of the employer having a staggered reduction in capacity (reduces their costs).
If however you want to take your chances you'll need to have a good answer ready for the possible question that may be asked concerning your studies etc.0 -

Of course I have, but this is of no concern to me, all employers use employees so there is nothing wrong with an employee using them. If you wish to have morals then fine, for me It's me and my family first the rest do not count.
Personally I think it quite sad that you care about no-one outside of your own family, but each to their own - you obviously have a very supportive family who are able to provide you with all you need in life. Long may that continue.0 -
