hi guys i'm going to look at someone selling a second hand laptop and other than the obvious "does it switch on" what else should i be looking at/for to check its all working in good order its an acer aspire 7540 if that helps?

If it boots up OK You could move the screen backwards and forwards and watch out for any flickering of the display and ask if there are any recovery disks for Windows with it.

It seems almost too cheap. Make sure things like the Wifi and USB ports all work.0 -
What are the specs for the laptop?
Compare them to new ones as laptops are available from £300 brand new
