Hi
There is a house on rightmove with the words "vendor found" listed as one of the bullet points in the description.
Does anyone know what this means?
thanks!

The vendor has found a house to buy (and therefore is eager to get a buyer themselves). Advantage being that you won't have to wait ages while they find a property to buy; disadvantage is that the sale to you would be relying on them getting their house, unless they were willing to move to rented/ family in the interrim.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. interesting....we have good reason to believe this particular house owner has put in an offer (accepted) on a house we offered on (declined).
We're FTB but that seems to be very irrelevant in the current 'market', it's all about the money at the mo...0 -
= more desperate than they were last week but maybe less able to negotiate on price?0

I can't imagine what they must have offered them to secure the house having not sold there's yet....asking price or very close0

Thanks for the info......
I always thought that it meant that the vendor had disappeared / not contactable / not possible to view the house.
And now the EA had 'found the vendor' and hence you could now view the house again!
Feel particularly silly.... have only seen on RM, never asked an EA about it!0
