Good News

Well after years being stuck on CS1 and my ex playing the system rather well, I am finally getting CS via a DEO on CS2:beer:

It's not a huge amount but it's a fair amount as per the CSA rulings and more importantly, it means that my ex has to acknowledge my small person (even if it is a few swear words every time he opens his pay slips!!)

Naturally the CSA have c0cked things up and the arrears are wrong but I'm going to let a few months normal maintenance come through and then tackle the arrears...and yes I am entitled to them and no, I'm not being bitter and twisted and taking the shirt off his back yaka yaka yaka (yawn;)). I have been the sole contributor to the household for years so am damn sure the arrears will get paid to me.

Not for a second do I think I'm now home and dry but even if I get a few months payment (fingers crossed it's many years) then it will be great.

:D

Good news Loopy Girl - I also get a DEO because my ex wouldn't pay, and it means that I have some idea of how much is coming in each month, even though it is often late.
  • Well done Loopy, I love the 'yaka yaka yaka'....how often have I wanted to express myself that way in this forum but couldn't find the words! lol

At last - fingers crossed that it lasts. Has he made contact with you to tell you his reaction?

Well he's been paying for about 8 weeks now and nothing so far. Although I have moved I have always kept me on the open electoral roll should he ever want to find me - I googled myself and found me in seconds!!!!

I'm really hoping that he might get in contact (see it as his 'right' since he is now paying) as small person would be delighted :) I know where he stays but I don't see the point of getting in touch since his actions over the years to avoid CS make it clear that he doesn't see her as a priority :(

Well done Loopy - a load more beer money :beer:

Seriously, you've left the door open. I hope one day he understands that small people have feelings too :(
