Hi I have an endowment that is maturing as I type ( £10,000),but I can't pay off any of my mortgage until May 05. I would like to put it somewhere with a good rate of interest and accessibility until that time. I have reached my limit in mine and my wifes mini ISA, any advice will be appreciated.
Many Thanks.

For short periods its best to put it in an savings accounts linked to your current account (i.e. one where transfers are immediate).
Otherwise your going to lose roughly 10 days interest during the transfer back and forth process
One such combo is halifax current / web saver0 -
Alliance and Leicester paying 5.35% instant access.0

Hi thanks for the advice, I have eventually settled for a Nationwide 'E'saver account which is linked to the current account( which seems better than my HSBC one anyway)and is paying 5%, 4% after tax.It is also instant access.
Many thanks again.
