I bought a Benefit mascara from Boots a while back (the plum shade) but had massive problems with it - it really dried my eyes out and made them turn bright red and exude some sort of pus. Urgh. It was definitely the mascara as I tried it a few times and this happened each time.
I contacted Benefit who said to contact Boots as that was where I bought it. I did, through the Boots website, and then forgot all about it. I didn't really expect anything.
However, today I received a lovely apologetic letter and a £15 gift card! I am so impressed, this is fantastic customer service. A big thumbs up to Boots! :beer:
