Hotmail hacked

My hotmail account was hacked into and scam mails sent to my contacts and MSN have closed it saying I may have violated the terms and conditions. Have posted MSN support and abuse@ hotmail.com but no replies after 6 days. I have followed advice on here but am just wondering what chance I have of my account being reopened. I have done google searches and this seems to happen to a lot of hotmail users but no one ever posts back and says that their account has been reopened.

stupid question but why not just open a new mail account with a 1 at the end of you old email addy? and make sure you use a much better password like a name and then your last six digits of your landline as a suggestion

Hello Basil1234, thank you for your reply. I have two other email accounts so don't need a new hotmail account. I just want access to my stored emails. If I can get that then I will close my hotmail account.

Thats the problem with having free web mail, won't get the after service with a more premium product.

My Gmail was hacked and Google closed it. Accessed it, went through lots of questions, read the note saying "yep, it's been hacked but we stopped all the spam and halted any wrong doings, enjoy e-mailing again" and that's that. Just get a Googlemail account, so much easier.
