Forgive my ignorance - I've seen a house on Rightmove which says "investment only" in the details. Please could someone explain?

I agree with David. I saw a gem of a flat once with Investment only on it. It transpired that due to the construction of the property and some sort of asbestos problem, lenders wont give mortgages on it, so cash only purchase from INvestors eg buy to let landlords who can raise CASH and not mortgages to buy it
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
