I thought i'd post a review for webuyanycar, as when we read the reviews when we were thinking of selling our car, there were very few positive reviews and I thought they must have been put on by staff of the company!

We sold our Nissan Murano 2006/06 at the Sunderland branch and the guy there couldn't have been more helpful, fair and honest.

I submitted our details and thought we'd take it down as we had nothing to loose. I put in every tiny scratch so that it would be very difficult for them to knock too much off the valuation. The guy actually said it was in much better condition that he expected. The deal we got was very fair. We did the deal on a bank holiday Monday and the money was in our account by the Thursday morning - without paying the £25 speedy payment fee.

I've heard people saying that they are only worth using if your car is a banger and you would otherwise just scrap it. Our car was a good car, what some would consider a luxury car, in good condition and we got a very fair price.

cynical!!...but possible!...is there anyone else out there who have had experience of them? I have heard that they give you a price over phone,then when you take it in to them,you get a lower offer.They actually get a bonus if they get your price down by 25%..

They came in handy for me. Knowing the problems that other people have posted about ie. giving you an inflated price and then knocking it down when you actually take the car for inspection.
The price they gave me was £9150, so I thought, if I can get anything between £8500 and £9000 I'd be happy. So I went to our local Ford dealer for a new car, when they asked me how much I was expecting for my car I said I had a good idea what it's worth but you tell me,
they came back with an offer of £9000. So with the discounts Ford are now doing (because that silly scrappage deal has finished) I went away a happy bunny.

I didn't realize just how desperate this company was for business until I saw this thread, as with the majority of people who stumble onto this thread, it merely confirms my suspicions.

Thanks for the tip off OP, just like anyone else who comes across this thread, I will be sure to NEVER use them!

Theyre rubbish for bangers as they charge a £49.99 admin fee which is rather annoying if they only offer £50.00.
