Currency in Turkey... whats best?

Hi

Apologies if this has been asked already but i was wondering what people do when going to Turkey regarding the currency.

I have heard people take Euros, Liras or ££ but wanted peoples opinions on what they feel is best.

I am going to Belek and staying in an all inclusive hotel, so not sure on how much to take or how to take it. I believe there are markets there and a friend said take ££ as you can bargain with them and know exactly wat you are paying.

Any replies are appreciated

Thanks
Paul

Korky69 is right - we do the same.

By the way, the reputation that Turkey is a cheap place to holiday, especially by bargaining in markets, no longer holds as true as it used to.
We visit Turkey every year and have noticed how prices have risen over and above inflation - on the other hand, standards have risen too - especially public toilets!

Actually, Primark and the like tend to be cheaper than the Turkish market traders these day.
