Sucks doesnt it! My pay day is Friday and I can't wait either, its a long weekend for the trainees at the site I work on so there's gonna be no one around by Friday lunchtime so it's going to be a very long shift waiting to get home to enjoy the one saturday of the month I can go shopping and not think about the money left.

  • Good morning.

Well yesterday was payday:j, not that there is much left of it as yesterday turned out to be a very expensive day:(.

Had work yesterday even though teachers were on strike, did get loads done as didn't have a small child whinging miiiiiissssssss every 2 minutes.
Both of my children were off so friend had them over to play, which was very kind of her, then pootled off to sainsburys and spent £70.29 on random stuff, did recieve 10p off petrol coupon which i've given to hubby as i filled up at BP before going as had forgotten about offer:mad:, also recieved from sainsburys a coupon for £12 off a £60 spend:D, as i previously mentioned i put petrol in car so blew £35 there.
Decided to go and buy DS new football boots as his little feet are growing again, so managed to blow £54 in sports shop on boots, tshirt and hoody for him.
Then stopped off at Mcdonalds on way home spending £8.50.

Paid a few bills yesterday including !!!!!! card and finally i am under the £6000 mark:j, don't usually update sig until statement comes through but going too do it as i think it will motivate me to see it under £6000.

Oh also managed to swap a jar of grapefruit marmalade for some freshly dug up new potatoes yum.

Hope everyone has a fab day and thank goodness its Friday:D.

Oh no to yesterday being a HSD, thats the thing I hate about paydays spending too much in the supermarket and petrol station!
Yay to the £12 off a £60 shopping aswell thats fab, hopefully you can get stocked up over the next few weeks to put you on later in the month.

Im agreeing with you on the TFI Friday too :T!!

    Have a good weekend xx

    Hi Pennywise

Yay to been under £6k, thats brilliant.

I got the petrol voucher as well from Mr S but only got a £9 voucher off a £60 shop for next week. I've donated my petrol voucher to DH as well because I had to fill up last week as I was running on fumes.

    Have a great day xx

  • Good morning and its bright and beautiful, going to put washing machine on and get some washing hung outside to dry.

Need to sort ironing mountain out today as its taking over the dining table:o.

Yesterday was a NSD:D, today will be a spend day as i'm helping at the school fair, will give children some money each (actually their pocket money) and once its gone thats it, i'm on a stall so hopefully this will stop me from wandering around and buying random tat.

Postie brought me some face wipes to test yesterday, which is nice.

Everything feels slow at the minute, ebay is carp and nothing seems to be selling do have a few more items to list, so that will be a job to do on Sunday. surveys slow, seemed to be being screened out alot and none are close to paying out:(.

Hubby is working all weekend, won't be back till really late tonight as they are silaging, which means he gets fed a work, so saves me a little, DD has asked for chicken wraps for tea so thats nice and easy.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys the sunshine.
