Primus - advise on phone/broadband?

I'm just about to switch from AOL and would ideally like a phone/broadband bundle, which includes rental. When I did a search Energy Helpline switched me to Switchwise, which I've never heard of and the top provider came out as Primus - again, I'd never heard of them. Feeling rather cautious - just wondered if anyone had ever used this particular company? There are no service levels shown in Switchwise.com, so have no comparisons.

Primus is recommended (because of the low cost) by Martin for line rental.
There are plenty of threads mentioning Primus too. Some good, some bad.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
