Currently unemployed but want to transfer balance

I have just returned from 6 months abroad and am searching for employment and wanting to transfer my credit card balance. Due to my employment status I seem to be unable to do this, is there any way round this?

To be honest, not till you've got a job and most likely out of the probation period. If you have no income, how are you supposed to pay debts back?0

Thanks, yes thought that might be the case. Just seems so frustrating when I have the cash to pay the payments, but I guess they have to cover their backs. On with the job hunt then......0

Just see it as extra motivation to get a job! I needed a bit of a kick up the backside, and it got me going.0
