General rant about seetickets and mph 2010

Options
The seetickets people have really wound me up! Was logged into their website at bang on 9am for tickets to this years MPH featuring top gear live, and was placed in a queue-fair enough. 45 minutes later the server goes down and cuts me off completely.

Starting again i go back to the seetickets website and now it is saying to ring the booking office for tickets - a premium rate number. So i do this and after a 15 minute wait (on hold) they tell me that as the servers have gone down they cannot process tickets either - so why tell me to call you on your website then! And all that i can do is keep refreshing the page and keep trying. (this i could have worked out for myself without calling a number that is charging me a fortune.)

I know that this is quite normal for events that have alot of interest, but surely they would appreciate this and expect their site to have a HUGe amount of traffic? Especially as the exact same thing happened last year.

Ok rant over, back to pressing refresh over and over again!

I feel your pain, was on the site ready for 09:00 and only got as far as picking which tickets I wanted. Didn't ring them but had an auto-refresh to see when the website was back up, and after two or three false starts, finally got the tickets at 11:30!
    A complete joke
