So have a back yard which has stone wall round it. Anyway its next to a footpath so want to improve it so its a bit more private and don';t have people looking in as they go past. So thinking of putting up a wooden fence. Which is the best way to do it? Take the wall down or just sort of get small panels to fix to the top of the wall. Also there is a black metal gate. I would rather have a bigger one with no gaps in it because when the dog is out quite often other dogs stick their noses through the metal gate and upset my dog. So would it be easier to take the gate out and put a wooden one there which is covered. Obviously I am going to get a proffesional to do this but would like some ideas before hand. Anyone know rough cost?

I have a similair gate leading onto a dog park so know completely what you mean i have attached welded metal mesh with wire over the gate this stops noses and hands coming though
