Computer monitor has died a death

My TFT monitor was left switched on and unattended for a couple of hours (usual practise, it has powersave) and on return it was totally lifeless. Changed the fuse - still no injection of life. My depth of knowledge has now been exhausted. Help, please.

Hi Browntoa
I do not know if it is the gaphics card. Wouldn't know where to start.
There are no lights on the tft.
I will see if I can check that there is an onboard fuse on the monitor.
Thanks for your help I am a complete novice.JD790 -
Does the monitor have an external brick transformer?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Hi Albert
Thanks - no, t doesn't.

If the plug fuse is ok, and any internal quick blow fuse is ok, it's probably going to be cheaper to buy a new one, unfortunately. Assuming that there are no lights on it at all. Is it under warranty?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
