I've been using Google for ages now but am not happy about them storing my searches/info.
I'm looking towards Copernic. Any recommendations please?

thought copernic utalises other search engines, which would mean your searches are stored anyway.
Don't think you will find any search engine that doesn't do that - MSN and Yahoo do.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0 -
You can anonymise your Google searches; see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=149643

I was looking at this just last night. Scandoo looks good. It uses google but apparently there aren't the privacy problems. (even though it looks like google after you search, you can see by the url that you're not there)
The problem is if you click on image search, it throws you into google0 -
If you have a dynamic ip address, just wipe out your cookies on boot with https://www.ccleaner.com, then google won't be able to link one days searches with the previous days (unless you search for your name every day).Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

You might also want to block 3rd party cookies if you are worried about people tracking you:
