Asus or Freedom XL ?

Am about to buy a netbook for my birthday and can spend £199 ( thanks to my kind mum ) and have narrowed my choices down to 2 ;
Asus 1001 HA 160gig
Freedom XL 250 gig
Am not an expert and will only be using it for storing photos and music on itunes and the odd bit of surfing when out and about.
Are they pretty much the same quality or is the Asus a slightly better make ?
Either 160 or 250 gig should be plenty for me ( my 5 year old laptop is 30 gig
) so either would be bigger.
