Pre-wedding nerves

I get married tomorrow and was wondering if any has any tips for nerves on the day. I am not talking about cold feet, just nerves about walking down the aisle, being on show etc. I am quite a nervous person anyway and I want to enjoy the day rather than spending the whole day (I get married at 5!) in a panic. I have bought myself some rescue remedy, mints and pepto bismol. Does anyone have any other relaxation or general tips I can use?

Have a nice cup of tea in the morning to settle the belly and some mints

take deep breaths, think of being married and walking towards your h2b
Can't think of anything else love

You beat me to the rescue remedy! Lavender is supposed to help relax if you smell it and camomile tea is also supposed to be very good (works for me!) however don't drink too much or you'll be rushing to the loo, not walking down the aisle

francine - if it's any consolation I know exactly how you feel. I spent several weeks, if not months being in a state of total anxiety about my big day and in the end I coped ok

My biggest fear was the actual ceremony, and as you say, being on show to everyone, but when it actually came to it, I felt quite calm. Maybe I had no more nerves left to be nervous by that time lol. But a large glass of champagne before leaving for the registry office worked wonders for me - that's my top tip!
:D
All the very best for tomorrow and just enjoy it - it will be lovely, honest

I get married tomorrow too!! (at 1 o'clock!)
I don't really feel nervous or anything yet, i think it's because i still have a bit to do!!
I think rescue remedy will work, also, just remember all of the people that are there and looking at you are there because they love you and want to be there.
I hope you have a lovely day, and i hop for both of us that the weather is gooood!!0 -
