My pvr crashes daily

My PVR Daewoo DSD9502T crashes daily.Sometimes it misses recording/splits recording and frequently freezes and the dreaded frequent initial hard disk initialisation.I often have to unplug it from the mains daily.
The latest software version is 3.2 please help I chuck it in the bin.If there is no solution would you recommend me another pvr with twin tuner please

Sounds to me like it wants fixing by use of a credit card.
If you get one from a Argos/Comet/etc. rather than trying to save the last halfpenny online and that one doesn't behave then returning it as junk will be much easier.
That said I've not heard any complaints like yours here before (the odd hang or other glitch yes) so you've maybe had a duff firmware update so if there is some way of forcing a fresh update even to the same level it could well fix the problems.0 -
