Hi,I recently ordered a item from Mothercare online. Now using the item valued at £60.Two days later the same item arrives again.I have checked the order and ordered only one, checked bank statement and only charged for one.Where do i stand. Can they take the money from account when they realize their mistake.Or should i save myself a headache and send back.Any advice would be great.

Send them an explaining email inviting them to collect the second one at your convenience.
One thing they cannot do is charge you for the second one.0 -

Far too much hassle!
Just make them come and collect it at your convenience!
Do put it in writing to them (email?) that you've received an extra item that isn't yours, and can they arrange to collect it in the next 14 days.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
This happened to my Mum a few years ago but with ELC. She ordered a £100 wooden cooker and it was delivered, followed by a second one a few days later which she hadn't ordered. She didn't know what to do so kept quiet about it until she received her bank statement, nothing showed up! She kept it packaged up in her garage for 9 months and when nobody contacted her she gave it to my daughter for Christmas which she absolutely loved!0

They can take you to court for the amount for the second one if you don't inform them, But they've got to arrange returning the item at their expense and at your convince.0

NOT TRUE!
You're not obliged to tell them they sent you a second one - and far from "taking you to court", if they don't ask for it back after something like 6 months it's an UNSOLICITED GIFT - and it's yours to do with as you please.
Similarly, if you contact them, and they don't get back to you with suitable arrangements for it's return, you can claim it as an unsolicited gift, though you don't have to wait as long before it becomes yours. (A month, two months? Something like that)0
