Ordered a HTC Desire on sunday night, and was assured it was in stock. Ordered for next day delivery. Taking into account the time the order was placed, and the bank holiday, I assumed it would be treated like a Tuesday order, and delivered today. Of course as of 9.40pm, it still hasn't even been approved, and looking at various posts on o2 forums have told me that quite a few people have ordered next day delivery in past week, been lied to about stock availability, and been kept in the lurch since.
The wait I can (just about) cope with, but it's the bare faced lies about availability just to get the order that really annoy me. Thinking of trying to get it from CPW on o2 (limited to them because of reception issues) then cancelling this order. If any local CPW has stock, I'm going to do this tomorrow.
I'm just a big kid when it comes to gadgets, and o2 will make me throw a tantrum! :rotfl:
