A reasonable procedure. You can also check the 'What you used' section on the pdf version of your bill. If the UK calls, 0845/0870 and text messages total is at least 30 you can be confident you have fulfilled your side of the bargain.
You have at least found out that it pays to phone until you get someone who has a glimmer of understanding of what the problem is. Whether you will have to repeat the exercise every time a bill comes is unknown. The BT Representatives could enlighten us all but participating in discussion or sharing their expertise in this forum is not part of their agenda. As you can see from earlier, even the most basic questions do not receive a public answer.0 -

What a pity they can't even get that right.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
