Need a printer with low running costs...

Can anyone recommend one?

Would be nice if it was a laser, but will settle for inkjet. I hear Kodak are not extortionate when it comes to buying ink. A built in scanner/copier would also be great. If possible, the less space it takes up the better.

Will mainly be printing text documents, letters etc, so reasonable print quality on normal paper would be great.

Thanks.

For reasonable running costs on cheap paper, it has to be laser. You can pick up s/hand HP Laserjets from offices that have done half a million pages and they will probably go on to do half a million more. They tend to be big beasts though.

    40 quid epson printer 3-in-1.
    £5 for a 4-pack of compatible inks from 7dayshop.

I have a Brother HL2070N... think I bought it for £40 replacement cart us £40 or can get a refil kit for around £15.

Might want to look at Brother models (think mine is now discontinued... unless you find some on eBay).
